Wrap Up Unit 10

  1. Review your unit 3 personal assessment of your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Reflect on these areas . How did you score yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 in unit 3? How do you score yourself now? Has the score changed? Why or why not? I score myself in each area of my life as 7/7/8 and now I score myself as an 8/8/9 so I have improved and will continue to improve towards better wellness.
  2. Review the goals and activities you set for yourself in each area. Have you made progress toward the goals? Explain. I have progressed in each area of my life it has been a stressful journey but I know God will not leave me to do this alone. I will keep writing in my journal, meditate, workout, read, get plenty of rest, get a lot healthier and continue to read my devotionals.
  3. Have you implemented the activities you chose for your well-being in each of the three areas? Explain. Yes each day it gets better and working my busy mind is a journey in itself but I'm getting better at it trying to maintain the mind to focus in stillness, practice makes it better not perfect.
  4. Summarize your personal experience throughout this course. Have you developed improved well-being? What has been rewarding? What has been difficult? How will this experience improve your ability to assist others? My well being has improve a great deal since I've been in this class, the most rewarding was listening to Professor calming voice and her meditation cds and getting the most out of this class as well as getting to know my classmates. The most difficult to me was getting my mind to relax and enjoy my surroundings with a peaceful stillness environment that I could connect to. I will help others by smiling, hugging, sharing the word of God through my devotions and continue to pray for others and with others.

  2. Hello Shawna;
    I think it is great that this class has been able to help you in your personal life and will prosper in your professional life as well. I agree that the Professor's meditation cd's and calming voice has helped in calming my mind and learn to ""keep it still" not so busy. This class has helped me to enjoy "the journey" and not let "life" take me for a ride. For me make it a postive healthy adventure; one that I can control, my mental, physical and spiritual wellness to make me a healthier, happier and wholesome person. Therefore not only will my personal life flourish, my professional "life" as well. I enjoyed having you this couse, it was verying enlightening, and hope to have you in other classes as well. Good luck at Kaplan. Kathy

  3. I too have been able to improve on my scores my a pointish. Think about if we continued with this knew mindset on life, we would be able to dramatically improve our lives to much higher levels. Quite possible, our perspective might change and a year from now we will be at a 8 or 9 and realized that when we thought we were at a 8 or 9, we were only at a 5. Interesting how our mindset can dramatically improve our life situations and experiences. Great work with all your improvements....
